What is to be free?

What is to be free_What is to be free? Is it possible to be free?

I thought it was lying in a hammock by the sea and reading a book or maybe writing a book of my own.

Don’t have things on to do list or must do …

So I tested this. Literally. 2009 I restart. Move to paradise Thailand and walked every day on the beach for hours. Ate my dinner while the sun disappeared into the sea. Went home and felt the warm breeze blow through my hair. Days went by and I had nothing to do, nothing I needed to do. Someone said it takes two years. Two years, then it no longer works.

Month in and month out I went to the beach and ate my dinner with the sun extinguishing the sky. My focus was on finding what I really wanted to do. I thought a lot of things I wanted to do. But they were not true in my reality, which I really wanted to create. There were lots of air castles to be destroyed.

Two years went by and only then did I begin to imagine what I wanted. Two years to really unwind from everything. Today I can feel stress if I must fit in a time, in 2-3 months. I want my free flow of time and preferably nothing should interfere. I have people around me who help get things just floating around, but the system took time to create. Time to even know what I would do for the rest of my life.

In fact, I have never met any person who has taken time off from his life to find his life, for 3 years!

Some weeks, a month here or there, many people have taken the time to find themselves, but not 3 years full-time without anything intruding. It took almost 5 years before I started doing what I really wanted to do.

But has this made me free?

In many ways YES, but many things cannot be affected at all. Things that renew passports and annual stamps at the Immigration Office. Things like not being drawn into complicated relationships with other people.

As soon as I want to create something that is outside my comfort zone, I end up in complicated relationships with other people. This is because I have not learned how to do and have not created this free-flowing uncomplicated system yet. The gears do not fit properly in the gearbox. The car chops and needs to be adjusted before everything works painlessly.

So I talk to people who will help me with the new, but I do not know the words yet and have to guess as well. I must search for the perfect and people say come back when you know. Patience is not humanity’s best developed tool, yet.

So today’s wonder to you is:

How does your life’s gearbox work?

Stress that never settles

Stress that never settlesThe stress that never settles in life. All the time, things happen, and things that can’t be covered. Small things to take when time is in abundance. Time that never comes and things that never get done. Life just goes on and maybe it doesn’t matter if the thing is done.

There is an effort required by force that does not exist. The postponement becomes a vicious circle. Just one more day and the whole week went by. That turned into months and years. Imagine if we chose something else. Some other way of life. Where had we been then. Happier than now or maybe not at all happy.

Speculating about the future is the only thing we can focus on. Speculating about time that has been, is like being late.

Had missions in Bangkok last month. 250 students between 12-18 years old. Is it possible to influence life choices? Is it possible to get people to choose the right path? Is there a right path?

Isn’t everything just pastime until death?

When you go to the fun fair, you want to experience as many rides as possible, but life then? It should not be the same way. Get scared, happy, have stomach upset, expectant and all the other experiences that exist, at the fun fair.

It is said that life is not a game. But also that you should not take life so bloody seriously. What would a life look like if we had no human influence?

Sky is the limit

Sky is the limitSky is the limit

Proverb:
Aim for the sky and you’ll reach the ceiling. Aim for the ceiling and you’ll stay on the floor.
Bill Shankly (1914-1981) Liverpool football manager

For me, this is a limitation. By defining the end goal. It’s like saying: when I’m 40, I’ll be a millionaire

It doesn’t say what to do with the millions you have. Most often, money is not a goal. Without further defining: I will have a house by the sea, a big sailboat and a helicopter that can take me anywhere I want when I am 40 years old. To have this you may need millions.

Aim for stars in what? My experience is that the goal should be clearly defined. The clearer the goal, the easier it is to pursue.

Example:
If you say you want a means of transport. Then can be anything. Bicycle, car, airplane or space rocket.
But if you say you want a red Honda Civic to go to work with, this is more specific and easier to reach.

Many I meet just want peace and quiet. Great wish, I say. But what is this for you. One says to sit for a coffee shop at the train station and see all the people rush past with a cup of coffee, without having a time to attend. Others say a small red cabin in the woods by a lake where it’s miles to the nearest neighbor.

We are all so different and have different definitions of the same thing that it can be interpreted as anything.

The sky is the limit is more prosperity. Good job / career, money at the bank, nice outward and social status.

Aiming at something is one to create a specific directions on how to get there.

Red Honda Civic, may be: you need a job / income to buy one.

It will be much easier to make a plan, for how you can get there, to carry out your wish if you have defined what you want. When you have a plan the only thing you need then is to schedule the plan in your everyday life.

Last week I described about the automatic systems we have and how we create such systems. By doing a little bit every day towards our goals in life. Will you, over time, always reach your goal. You don’t even have to have talent.

What does it mean: Sky is the limit, for you?

Are you trained for excellence?

Are you trained for excellence_Are you trained for excellence?

When you encounter problems, you solve the problem from the level you have been training for … This is done automatically automatically, without you being able to control.

A switch is turned on and the whole system is taken over when you are blocked. You perform everything according to the level you are or the level you have trained to.

Let me explain:
You have taught a child to tie the shoes right now. It goes great, for the child to tie the shoes. But one morning when you are late for kindergarten / school, the situation is more stressful and then it is next to impossible for the child to tie the shoes. This situation often ends with the adult tying the shoe. This for shoe tying, is not automated.

1000 times is usually the level of automation. This means that you need to do one thing 1000 times before the thing is fully automated. So you need to lift a water glass 1000 times before you have an automatic brain program, which means that you do not spill the water in the glass.

To take a more advanced example: You need to show your business concept to 1000 people before you have an automation program that will take you further in the process of building your business. It is said that it takes 3-5 years for a company to become profitable and this is one of the reasons …

You don’t have to be good or the best. You just have to do the thing 1000 times. Then you are automatically above average.

Statement!
This means that most people live a mediocre life in general for the level of excellence is mediocre under stress.

Most people do not do a thing until they become excellence and stop long before they reach results that take them over the first threshold of excellence.

You need about 1000 hours to reach a good level of something you want to develop.

30 minutes per day means that you need about 5.9 years to reach 1000 hours. 5.9 years sounds a long time, but you usually increase the time the more you delve into a subject. So just increasing by 30 minutes a day to 1 hour a day will allow you to reach 1000 hours in 2.5 years.

So what does your list of things you want to get excellence look like, and what things have you already got excellence?

This is my list of things I want excellence and things I’ve already achieved excellence:

  • I have made about 200 development videos for people. 150 is on my youtube channel, so I have 800 videos left if I want to reach excellence. It is said that 1000 videos give about $ 10,000 per month whichever topic you choose and you do not need to be good. Just make 1000 videos on one topic. I have a video with 1.3 million viewers maybe get $ 1,000 in total, but no longer.
  • I have painted / sold about 300 paintings so I have 700 left for excellence
  • I have made about 250 music pieces and have about 750 left for excellence
  • This year I have fed my brain with knowledge of Social Media Marketing about 500 hours of training. So 500 hours left before everything is automated

  • I’ve done more than 1000 long jumps and had a world record so I don’t have to train anymore on this … it was more than 10,000 hours of training to get there (10,000 hours is about 2.7 hours a day for 10 years). I’ve met people who were much better than I was, but they never trained the last 5000 hours needed for excellence. I mostly trained between 40-70 hours a week for several years…
  • I have coached more than 1000 people and developed a system of excellence, which has taken me more than 30 years to develop
  • I’ve lived in Thailand for more than 500 weeks in a row, and know how to live here. But still 500 weeks left for excellence (about 10 more years)
  • I have been feeding my brain with personal development processes for more than 10,000 hours. In 1992, my professor (with whom I was employed) said that I was the most read non-professor he met. There have been a number of books and articles, as I read, over the past 27 years. Development processes are my most passionate subject.

I love writing reflections like this text.

What illusion have you chosen to live in?

What illusion have you chosen to live in_What illusion have you chosen to live in?

Of the 1000s of people I meet over the years, this question is probably one of the most important to answer and above all make a map of.

Mapping the illusion, you live in is not as easy as it seems. First, I must understand that it is an illusion.

More and more people are beginning to understand that, thoughts govern life. What you think of daily, you get more of. If you think you have a shortage of money, you get more, a lack of money. Are you thinking that you have to solve problems with something, it is as if the problem gets bigger…

So, we listen to any “voodoo doctor”, you know those who seem to have the solution to all the problems of the earth. They tell us to focus on abundance and positivity. Enter your thoughts and see the image of abundance of money or a life of happiness.

So, we start thinking in other ways. A positive life with abundance.

2-3 weeks go by and nothing has happened. We are in the same deadlock, as before the “voodoo doctor”.

So, we stop.

After half a year or a year … the situation is even worse, and we know we must do something. So, we try to find a new “voodoo doctor” with a new solution. We look optimistic about it all and start testing.

The probability that the result will be the same is the next 100% … or more exactly 92%.

You may belong to the 8% who succeed. It is according to research at the University of Scranton. It says that why people fail is because there are no realistic challenging goals and that person does not have someone who can help you get you from point A to point B.

Example:
If you have read all this, you have learned to read!
How many hours did it take? Days? Maybe years?
Had we, a chance not to learn to read. I would answer NO. We didn’t have a chance. People helped us bridge the frustration and finally we read …

15-20 years ago, I started to read more in English, I was born Swedish and read Swedish. It was awkward, and I thought about quitting several times. It was too complicated. Tried to find the information in Swedish instead. So, I just slipped and created the illusion that it was not possible.

When I move to Thailand it became more natural with English and I could not slip anymore. I was more and more forced to handle English. Today I write my posts in English because many people who follow me cannot speak Swedish. My English is far from perfect, but I think most people understand, what I want to express.

So, when I lived in Sweden, English was not realistic in the same way as here in Thailand. Here I use English daily and my goal is to reach more English-speaking audiences.

Today I dream in English when I sleep and think English. In fact, find it difficult to find the words in my native language. But it took time and many English-speaking people. I have even written a book in English, available on Amazon to buy…

So, my thoughts have changed completely through the English illusion and I reach a completely different part of the earth’s population … than with the Swedish language

So, the week wonder from your world is:

Do you have a similar story where you lived in a thought path and then changed your mind, so you got a whole different life?

To start over

To start over

When you have had a sports career and you are about to start living without the sport that has been your everyday life. Or you stop a job that has been a big part of your life. You may be moving to another city or ending your education after a few years.

How do you start learning the new way of life?

“The way to find the perfect life” is a team I have chosen to talk about at the 8th World Congress on Mind Training for Excellence in Sport & Life, in Gävle Sweden on June 12-16. I have been invited by Lars-Eric Uneståhl *, Ph.D.

This week I was invited to participate in the “Internationally Certified Life Coach” through the ICC – International Coaching Community. Lars-Eric and Elene Uneståhl’s first Life Coach education. I learned so much.

This is what I will talk about in this “live broadcast”
