My experience with myself and others I coached for 40 years and more than 20,000 hours of one to one coaching is:

  • No one wants to go anywhere voluntarily if they do not suffer and their whole existence is not threatened
  • I have not met anyone who has moved from where they are to a better standard in their lives without a coach / mentor or inspirer to help do what is required, including myself
  • Only 3 out of 100 people succeed though they have a coach / mentor or inspirer to help them come to a completely different way of living a life
  • Next everyone I talked to wants to live another life, but only 3 out of 100 manage to create this

A little of the above statements, he may explain that the coaching industry is only at the beginning of development. Are the coaches too bad because only 3 out of 100 succeed?

No…

Most people who have a coach / mentor / inspirer feel better and have a better understanding of their life, after collaboration.

My mentors I use say that people pay between $ 1000 and $ 10,000 for help for a better life, but 3 out of 100 people do the work that is actually required to take your life elsewhere. 97 people do not do the work, to come to a better life, though they paid for their own development.

3 out of 100 sounds very little, so let me explain. When you were a kid you might paint, ride a horse, play some instrument, play football or some other sport. How many of them you met when you were a child are now:

Artists, work with horses, musicians, or professional sports woman / man?

Probably fewer than 3 people… So we humans test a lot of things but it is about 3 out of 100 that actually after 5 years is still doing what we tested 5 years earlier.

There is no magic pill that you can buy. If you want to create another life, you have to work with the life task.

I have described over and over again how I created things in my life. To become long jumpers, you should do at least 1000 long jumps and 1000 hours of training.

If you want to get to the Olympics, you should do more than 10,000 long jumps and more than 10,000 hours of training. I did about 15,000 hours of training for my world record, in long jump for my injury class at Paraolympisk.

The same if you want to become an artist, musician or veterinarian or other profession. I did 100 paintings to see if I wanted to be an artist. Before, it is not possible to decide. You must, in my opinion, do many hours of work before you can decide if this is really what you want to do. Many read the subject of a profession in younger years, but the majority have a profession in something completely different when they are older.

I would like to say that:

You don’t have to have talent. You need passion to be able to do 10,000 hours in the area you want to succeed.

You need people around you who are like-minded, coaches, inspirers and, above all, people who believe in you, listen to you.

These people, you will need: when in doubt, when you are sad that it does not work, when you make the wrong choice, when you lose all hope of success. This belongs to the process.

So these people around you will support you to overcome all obstacles and keep your focus on your dream of achieving success towards what you are striving for.

Last year 2019, I spent between 500-600 * hours on an advanced Social Media Marketing course and will, among other things, in 2020 start helping people with internet marketing and launch my new website Life Coach Mega.

So now it’s time to see if my 600 hours * of training can produce the return I hope for. I have had great fun with my education and now the fruits will be harvested.

The leading theme from my teachers is:

Do the footwork, reprogram your brain, against the new, which you will create (which is your biggest obstacle, which you will not do), then you need some technical knowledge, but most of it is to train to think from a completely different perspective than where you are now. If you do this, you are there within 12-18 months whatever you want to achieve…

If you do not want to do footwork / rethink, against something new, you will probably live a life that 97% of the earth’s population does. Probably a good life, when you are 70 years old 80 years old and looking back on how you lived.

The 3% who do something else live an extraordinary life, which the other 97% marvel at.

For me, this is a limitation. By defining the end goal. It’s like saying: when I’m 40, I’ll be a millionaire

It doesn’t say what to do with the millions you have. Most often, money is not a goal. Without further defining: I will have a house by the sea, a big sailboat and a helicopter that can take me anywhere I want when I am 40 years old. To have this you may need millions.

Aim for stars in what? My experience is that the goal should be clearly defined. The clearer the goal, the easier it is to pursue.

Example:
If you say you want a means of transport. Then can be anything. Bicycle, car, airplane or space rocket.
But if you say you want a red Honda Civic to go to work with, this is more specific and easier to reach.

Many I meet just want peace and quiet. Great wish, I say. But what is this for you. One says to sit for a coffee shop at the train station and see all the people rush past with a cup of coffee, without having a time to attend. Others say a small red cabin in the woods by a lake where it’s miles to the nearest neighbor.

We are all so different and have different definitions of the same thing that it can be interpreted as anything.

The sky is the limit is more prosperity. Good job / career, money at the bank, nice outward and social status.

Aiming at something is one to create a specific directions on how to get there.

Red Honda Civic, may be: you need a job / income to buy one.

It will be much easier to make a plan, for how you can get there, to carry out your wish if you have defined what you want. When you have a plan the only thing you need then is to schedule the plan in your everyday life.

Last week I described about the automatic systems we have and how we create such systems. By doing a little bit every day towards our goals in life. Will you, over time, always reach your goal. You don’t even have to have talent.

What does it mean: Sky is the limit, for you?

A plan is good to have. A plan for life or the gym or the holiday.

But a plan without action becomes nothing more than a plan. If you plan to go to the gym for some reason (feel good, lose weight, get better fitness) and do not go to the gym nothing happens. You can’t think, better fitness, but you have to train (what I know). Or going abroad without actually going abroad, on vacation, can not be imagined either.

Without a plan, usually nothing happens either. So plan and action belong together. Just doing the action is usually not good either. You just wander around without any real goal.

A good plan (in my opinion) is when what you are going to accomplish is booked into your weekly plan. Then you have a fixed time where you only focus on what you want to achieve. Really a little every day. 10-30 minutes every day is best and it doesn’t matter what it is you are going to accomplish.

There is like a law: What you think about you get more of.
So if you think and plan a little every day, it will be more of what you plan to do. Doing it long enough every day will almost always be accomplished. Sufficiently long, usually, every day for at least 30-90 days. This is about what it takes to create a new habit (habit) that becomes automated.

When the habit becomes automated, it usually takes another 3-6 months before you see clear results. Maybe not plan your vacation but go to the gym or write a book or open your own company. I usually say to those I coach that it takes at least 3 months before you can see the bigger picture of what you intend to do and what effects it new for when you change your thinking.

I think most people can think of what it’s like to have children, but it’s actually when you have children that you know what happens. There are so many factors that come in that cannot be imagined.

It is possible to think that you are sitting under a palm tree and looking over the sea. But if you do this in reality, so many more things that cannot be described in words or conceived happen if you did not do so in reality.

That’s what I think …

Of the 1000s of people I meet over the years, this question is probably one of the most important to answer and above all make a map of.

Mapping the illusion, you live in is not as easy as it seems. First, I must understand that it is an illusion.

More and more people are beginning to understand that, thoughts govern life. What you think of daily, you get more of. If you think you have a shortage of money, you get more, a lack of money. Are you thinking that you have to solve problems with something, it is as if the problem gets bigger…

So, we listen to any “voodoo doctor”, you know those who seem to have the solution to all the problems of the earth. They tell us to focus on abundance and positivity. Enter your thoughts and see the image of abundance of money or a life of happiness.

So, we start thinking in other ways. A positive life with abundance.

2-3 weeks go by and nothing has happened. We are in the same deadlock, as before the “voodoo doctor”.

So, we stop.

After half a year or a year … the situation is even worse, and we know we must do something. So, we try to find a new “voodoo doctor” with a new solution. We look optimistic about it all and start testing.

The probability that the result will be the same is the next 100% … or more exactly 92%.

You may belong to the 8% who succeed. It is according to research at the University of Scranton. It says that why people fail is because there are no realistic challenging goals and that person does not have someone who can help you get you from point A to point B.

How many hours did it take? Days? Maybe years?
Had we, a chance not to learn to read. I would answer NO. We didn’t have a chance. People helped us bridge the frustration and finally we read …

15-20 years ago, I started to read more in English, I was born Swedish and read Swedish. It was awkward, and I thought about quitting several times. It was too complicated. Tried to find the information in Swedish instead. So, I just slipped and created the illusion that it was not possible.

When I move to Thailand it became more natural with English and I could not slip anymore. I was more and more forced to handle English. Today I write my posts in English because many people who follow me cannot speak Swedish. My English is far from perfect, but I think most people understand, what I want to express.

So, when I lived in Sweden, English was not realistic in the same way as here in Thailand. Here I use English daily and my goal is to reach more English-speaking audiences.

Today I dream in English when I sleep and think English. In fact, find it difficult to find the words in my native language. But it took time and many English-speaking people. I have even written a book in English, available on Amazon to buy…

So, my thoughts have changed completely through the English illusion and I reach a completely different part of the earth’s population … than with the Swedish language

Book time with yourself. Make sure that you are in an environment that is inspiring and that you have to start the journey towards your goal.

When I started to create art, I booked every Sunday at 9.00 to 15.00 in my studio. I wasn’t always able to paint, but I was there between 9-15. This made it possible to create art and after a while the body was set to be Sunday art. So I created art and the goal was 100 paintings. Which I reach after some year.

I placed myself in an environment where you only do the activity where my vision existed. So if you want to train and get fit, the gym may be a good place to be. It will be difficult to stay in a gym 3-4 days a week without training if you understand what I mean…

Without goals you come, nowhere. The more clearly you aim, the more chances are that you will reach your goal.

Questions to ask you to find goals 2019 or for life:

1. If the future were mine to reinvent, what would be in it for me?
2. On my deathbed, what will I be able to say was my biggest life achievement?
3. What a mission in my life will be the inspiration I need?
4. What is the one thing that I feel genuinely passionate about?
5. What do I enjoy, that really absorbs and engages me?
6. Can the job help you achieve my dreams?

Don’t do it yourself. Get someone to follow on your topic that is more aware of what you are creating in your life. An inspirer that annoys you a lot so you always take steps towards what you want to manifest …

All coaches out there, for example youtube, have a coach. No matter how big they are, they have a coach mentor and they are constantly learning. Continuous development and curiosity about life. This may be the one thing that is constant. Everything else is chaotic before it takes shape.

Follow someone who teaches me new things in my life. So as a coach mentor.
For me, this means I watched over 100 videos about their business. Bought one of their products and went into depth what they did … then blindly followed them for a longer time, at least 6 months. Step by step what they say without adding my own variations or adding other methods I learned.
These people disturb me in a positive way. They put things on facebook youtube all the time. The whole time reminds me to stick to my life plan … they really annoy me in my life and make me do things I would otherwise forget. This means that, they drive me, forward to what I want to do. Without these coaches I would get stuck in some place I shouldn’t be … I would lose my focus, in life. I don’t have many I follow, but 2-3, otherwise I just get confused and overload with information and this end, with that I do nothing.

I fail all the time… last year I would, release a music CD or EP or whatever it is called. Failed totally with the music.

Released a book instead. So it was not total desperation … because I manifested something else. After watching up to 100 videos how to make a book for amazon I managed to publish one. It’s great for me. Without Stefan James, this book would never be created. To mention something, he makes a video every month on what he accomplished last month, in detail. What was the goal, how much money did he earn (down to cents), what private success did he do. He begins to create his successes from zero (actually in Thailand) and today one of his passions is to lead others to the same success … it hurts to follow him, if you do nothing in your life and begin to seriously manifest things in your life .

Further on, I will mention more people I have followed over the years …
